Cultural Diversity Week is a time to come together as a community to celebrate our multicultural heritage and identity.
This year, there are a range of opportunities to get involved in the week and embrace Victoria’s diversity.
VMC Film Festival
The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) Film Festival calls on Victorians, young and old, to show us what multiculturalism means to their generation through the lens of everyday stories. Shortlisted films will be screened at the VMC Film Festival at ACMI, where we will present winners with some great prizes.
Entries are now open until Tuesday 24 April 2018. Find out more and make a submission.
Primary School Short Film Competition
The Primary School Short Film Competition calls on our state’s youngest filmmakers to produce a short film that explores what multiculturalism looks like. Entries are now closed but join us for a screening of the winning submissions at Victoria’s Multicultural Festival.
